Top 5 Protein Bars For 2024!

No matter if you’re starting your fitness journey as a new years resolution, an important event, to better your overall health, or any other reason, let it be known that getting enough protein is very important. Protein bars are a quick and convenient way to aid in weight loss OR weight gain! Here is a list of our team’s favorite picks going into 2024. We would also like to add that none of these links are paid promotions, these are purely here to make it easier for you to try some of our top picks!

  1. Built Puff: 140 calories, 17g protein, 14g carbs, 2.5g fat. These little bars are great to help with those sweet tooth cravings. We love the fact that they’re only 140 with a nice 17g of protein and the taste is not your typical chalky protein bar flavor. Our favorite is the coconut flavor, which is very similar to an almond joy candy bar, but they have a very large variety such as Brownie Batter, Churro, and Peanut Butter. Check them out here

  2. Quest Crispy: 150 calories, 18g protein, 23g carbs, 6g fat. Calories vary slightly between the flavors but our team’s favorite flavor is cookies and cream. The size of the bar is big compared to others, especially only having 150 calories, which is nice when cutting down on calories because it takes you longer to consume, which helps in preventing over eating. The texture is also a nice change of pace with the crispy variety, keeping you looking forward to this sweet treat. Check out the flavors here

  3. Barebells: 200 calories, 20g protein, 18g carbs, 8g fat. You can’t really go wrong with any of these flavors. 200 calories isn’t hard to fit into your daily calorie allowance and 20g of protein helps you hit those macro targets. These really have a candy bar quality between the flavor and texture, it is really hard to believe if you haven’t tried one. Check them out here

  4. Pure Protein: 200 calories, 20g protein, 16g carbs, 7g fat. The real selling point with these is the price and availability. These are by far the most affordable out on the list and the flavor really holds its own for the money. These have a more traditional texture and size but you can find them on amazon and at most Walmart locations. Our team is loving Lemon Cake flavor as a nice change of pace but the amount of flavors Pure Protein puts out is almost unmatched. Check them out here

  5. Anabar: 280 calories, 20g protein, 25g carbs, 11g fat. Calories also vary between flavors here but the flavors are well worth it. Branded as “the protein packed candy bar” they bring the heat with the flavor! Being a little higher calorie, you will have to think about fitting them in more strategically if you’re trying to lose a few pounds, but if you’re wanting to gain some muscle mass these will be your best friend. Check them out here

That wraps up our list for our favorite protein bars as we head into 2024. We hope this list helps you make your decision a little easier when trying to find a snack at the gas station or grocery store this year. If you’re trying to lose a few lbs or put on some muscle, we highly recommend giving these a try if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
